Hi Friends
As you know rakhi has coming soon. Raksha Bandhan Is
the festival of brother and sister. Sisters tied rakhis on the wrist of their brothers.
Sisters and brothers wait eagerly for it all round the year.
So, today I am sharing my new project Beautiful
quilled handmade rakhies for brothers.
In this project you all need are
·
Quilling strips 5mm (maroon, white,
light blue)
·
Quilling Strips 3mm ( sea green and
yellow)
Quilling tool
·
Half pearl, stones, colourful thread,
pearls,glue
Red Rakhi
Step 1: I have
taken half maroon, half white strips and pasted the edges. Then make a little
lose coil and created leaf shape. I have created 8 petals. I have taken half white,
half maroon, than again half white and half maroon for creating circle.
Step 2: I have
pasted all petals and create a flower. I have cut two circles from thick white
paper and pasted quilling flower on it. This flower pasted on colour thread and
insert any colour pearl for looking it beautiful. I have used this pearl from my old rakhi .
Yellow Rakhi
Step1 : I have
taken 5 yellow and 5 sea green strips and created tight coils. In this
rakhi I have used green leaf shape stone with white tiny pearl which I have
taken from old rakhi. I have cut 2 leaf shape thick paper. And pasted green
stone in the middle and paper coils pasted all over at the edges of the stone.
You can see the image. I have also used decorative thread from my old rakhi.
Light Blue rakhi
In this way I have created these rakhies. you can create different color, size and design.
