Handmade # Beautiful Lumba Rakhi For Women

How to make lumba rakhi at home…?

Hi Friends

Today I am sharing my new project lumba rakhi. The Lumba Rakhi is an unusual type of Rakhi, which is meant for the sister-in-laws (your brother’s wife or bhabhi). The sisters tie these Rakhis to the wrists of the sister-in-laws. These Rakhis can be commonly seen in the hands of women in Rajasthan, where they wear these Rakhis along with the bangles. The tradition of the Lumba Rakhis mainly originated from Rajasthan, but nowadays, it has become quite popular. Women all over the country can be seen sporting these Rakhis on Raksha Bandhan.
The Lumba Rakhis are quite different than traditional Rakhis regarding appearance. These Rakhis are more slender, and vibrant than the traditional Rakhis which are meant for boys, and men. The vibrant colour of these Rakhis makes them more beautiful when they are complimented with the colourful traditional Indian attire.

 Let’s  start the process

  Quilled lumba rakhi
